At Gallerie Maspes in Milan the exhibition of Leonardo Bazzaro 'La dolce vita en plein air'

The monographic show will present a valuable selection of 10 masterpieces, some of them have never been exhibited or never seen in over a century. From October 23 to December 20, 2015, the Galleries Maspes in Milan (Via Manzoni 45) host an exhibition dedicated to the Milanese painter Leonardo Bazzaro (1853-1937).

The exhibition, curated by Francesco Luigi Maspes and Elena Orsenigo, will present a selection of precious paintings, made between 1895 and 1910, from private collections.

Milan thus returns to celebrate Leonardo Bazzaro with a monographic, after the posthumous organized in 1939 at the Palazzo della Permanente in Milan, from which three masterpieces as In campagna, Tutto è gioia, Sola!

The route will be enriched by the works have never been exhibited, as among Tra le ortensie, Sulla terrazza all’Alpino, remained unpublished until the publication of the catalog, curated by Francesco Luigi Maspes and Enzo Savoia; and I miei fiori, never appeared in public after the exhibition held in Turin in 1900 at the Company Promoter of Fine Arts.
