Andrew Salgado's new exhibition, entitled A Room with a View of the Ocean, was created specifically for Lauba Art House's 13,000sqft space. The exhibition takes place in four 'acts', consisting of nearly 75 artworks, the show includes work on paper, painting as collage, video, sculpture and even furniture. Perhaps most interesting is the artists recreation of 'an ocean' at the climax of the exhibition.

ANDREW SALGADO (b.1982, Canada) was the youngest artist to receive a survey-exhibition at The Canadian High Commission in Trafalgar Square, London, entitled TEN. The exhibition was accompanied by a monograph of the same name, available online. In 2015, Salgado curated The Fantasy of Representation at #beerslondon, including work by #francisbacon, Gary Hume, and Hurvin Anderson along an impassioned manifesto for the merits of representational painting. He was selected for 100 Painters of Tomorrow, (Thames&Hudson, 2014), and is the subject of a 2015 documentary film, entitled Storytelling. He frequently donates to charities, including Terrence Higgins TrustMacMillan Cancer SupportInternational Rescue CommitteePride London, and is a patron for Diversity Role Models.
