DS Automobiles supports The South Bank Sky Arts Awards 2017

DS Automobiles supported the #southbankskyartsawards 2017, held at the Savoy Hotel on The Strand in London with creative excellence in the arts, by sponsoring the Visual Art accolade. The sponsorship is part of an exclusive partnership between the avant-garde French premium #automotive brand and the premium television channel, Sky Arts. 

The #southbankskyartsawards 2017 is being broadcast on Sky Arts at 8.00pm on Wednesday, 12 July. 

DS Automobiles is highlighting its avant-garde values and recognising excellence in the arts, by sponsoring the Visual Art prize at the #southbankskyartsawards 2017. #ds Automobiles’ sponsorship of this prestigious honour is part of the marque’s exclusive partnership with Sky Arts, the premium television channel, which celebrates the best in art, music and culture. In addition to the sponsorship of this specific award, the #ds brand also provided chauffeur-driven transportation for a number of celebrity guests in #ds 5 executive hatchback cars.

Hosted by Melvyn Bragg, the #southbankskyartsawards – which celebrates its 21st anniversary this year – is the highlight of the UK arts calendar and honours the very best of British culture and achievement.

Renowned for iconic #automotive design focusing on personal expression, #ds Automobiles is celebrating creativity and innovation by sponsoring the coveted Visual Art category. The nominees for the Visual Art prize this year are: John Akomfrah for Vertigo Sea, Artangel for Inside: Artists and Writers in Reading Prison and George Shaw for My Back to Nature. 

Visual Art is one of ten category awards presented at The Savoy in London. The #southbankskyartsawards focus on the arts in their entirety. The other categories are Classical Music, Literature, Theatre, Pop, Comedy, TV Drama, Opera, Film and Dance.
