'Arrivano i Paparazzi!' at CAMERA – Centro Italiano per la Fotografia in Turin
150 images tell the epopee of ‘stolen photography’, from La Dolce Vita to the present day, In Italy and around the world where the world is most of all, although not only, that of scandal and gossip.
“These are photographs that shaped the popular perception of public personae forever: actors, singers and politicians – comments the curators Walter Guadagnini e Francesco Zanot -, women most of all. ‘Stolen’ shots of private moments, from when, once the mask of the role they play has fallen, they become (almost) ordinary people once more.”
