Illycaffè presents "La bottega del caffè" at Piccolo Teatro in Milan

National premiere at the Piccolo Teatro in Milan on the occasion of Expo, comes “La bottega del caffè” by Carlo Goldoni, directed by and starring Maurizio Scaparro Pino Micol. A comedy of feelings and acting of human beings, common in all times and in all places: envy, love, hate, lust for money and power, the struggle for the well-being, have not changed since the eighteenth century to the present. The lively dialogues written by Goldoni in Tuscan dialect are embellished by original music by Oscar winner Nicola Piovani, the sets and costumes of CUTULI Lorenzo, winner of the International Opera Awards in 2014 for Best Art Direction. For the occasion, the director Maurizio Scaparro and actor Pino Micol meet the public Wednesday, June 17 at the Coffee Cluster, curated by illy, partner of the show.
