Blenheim Art Foundation is pleased to announce a presentation of Tino Sehgal’s work, taking place 9 July – 15 August 2021. Following a year of extensive confinement indoors, this will be the first presentation at Blenheim designed specifically for the Park and Gardens.
Conceived as a series of scenes rather than works with fixed locations, the work will move fluidly throughout the Park and Gardens like a game of encounters, responding to specific conditions such as the number of visitors, the location or the weather. The group of participants – the majority of whom are local residents cast specially for this project – will gather and disperse in a fluid and porous choreography, enacting moments of connection with visitors and their surroundings, informed by the landscape architecture of Capability Brown.
The exhibition is organized as a #collaboration between #blenheimartfoundation and Marian Goodman Project.
