Milan Design Week 2021: the second edition of 'Palazzo delle Meraviglie' begins a project by Katrin Herden at the Bagatti Valsecchi museum in Milan


From 5 to 10 September 2021 - on the occasion of Milano #design Week 2021 - after the favorable response of the first edition, the exhibition #event dedicated to the exclusivity and #excellence of #interiordesign 'Palazzo delle Meraviglie' returns in the most prestigious rooms of the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum, a house museum in the heart of Milan inspired by the Renaissance, a unique, stimulating and authoritative place, recognized for its historical and cultural importance.

'Palazzo delle Meraviglie' is a special #event in the Fuori Salone scenario conceived by Katrin Herden and organized together with arch. Alessandro Zarinelli with their Studio MHZ which stands out among the many events proposals of the #design Week, to be a real cultural enrichment not only for #design but for the eye of the cultured and curious visitors. The idea of ​​the project starts from the desire to discover and unite different but at the same time close worlds, such as art, culture, #design, architecture, and craftsmanship, an exhibition that involves six international #design companies of #excellence: #decluuz, Jallu Ébénistes, LcD, Perennials and Sutherland, #sohil, Van Rossum, a special synergy for the variety and quality of the products to be exhibited, ranging from designer furniture to textiles.

In the embellished rooms of the Museum, a selection from their latest collections, following a strong artistic sense, enhanced by the care and attention to the quality of the materials, surprisingly interacting with the Renaissance and Neo-Renaissance furnishings of the rooms in a spectacular and one in a kind scenary.

Palazzo delle Meraviglie places a direct relationship with the history of this extraordinary Milanese building, with a strong artistic imprint. The mix between the contemporary #design of the items exhibited companies and the ancient Renaissance history of the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum conveys a sense of magic and amazement for unexpected combinations, a sense of home and living the moment wandering through the rooms, immersed in past, present and future.
