The art of Igor Mitoraj returns at the Airport of Venice with 'Testa di Ikaro Screpolata'.
Thanks to the collaboration with Save S.P.A., the General Aviation Terminal of the Airport of Venice reserved for private flights, will host the splendid sculpture of Igor Mitoraj for the next six months.
‘Testa di Ikaro Screpolata’ is an amazing example of the artist's poetics in which classical culture is permeated and adapted to modern society. The fragments and the poetics of evolution take us back to the ever-present archetypes of loneliness, love, suffering, and the inexorable passing of time.
