Great success for BLINDARTE auctions, with participations and adjudications from Japan to the USA, results and records that consolidate the growth of the house, confirming its international standing.

Among the notable results achieved in the Modern and #contemporaryart Auction was certainly the record adjudication for Salvo. The beautiful painting on canvas entitled La Valle was fought over by telephone and live bids, and starting from an estimate of euro 40.000/60.000 was sold for euro 155.500 (a world record for the artist!).
There was also a great battle for Yayoi Kusama's beautiful painting, Dress A, which was estimated at euro 50.000/80.000 and finally sold for euro 167.500 (including auction fees).
Transavantgarde was very well represented at the auction by two important works, one by Paladino, which fetched euro 125,000, and the other by Sandro Chia sold for euro 40.000.
All of Lichtenstein's graphic works sold, and were hotly contested. The Still life with lobster auctioned for only euro 37.500 (it was estimated at € 14.000/18.000).
There was also a great dispute over Mario Schifano's painting Water Lilies which was estimated at euro 8.000/12.000 and then went for euro 20.000. Masson's beautiful canvas was also sold for over euro 60.000.
Burri's Cellotex also fared well at almost euro 34.000 and Mario Merz's 'The Snail' fetched euro 27.500.
Excellent success also for James Brown and for Carlo Alfano (sold at euro 18.750), Boetti and Pistoletto did well.
There is growing interest for Gregorio Sciltian who from an estimate of euro 4.000/6.000 was sold live at over euro 15.000.
Lastly, the double photo by Carsten Höller, estimated at euro 3.000/4.000, fetched over euro 8.000.

The auctions dedicated to Antiques and Old Master Paintings also did well. Great interest was aroused by the furnishings, almost all of which were sold, such as the Small French Commode from the 18th century which went from an initial estimate of euro 1.000/1.500 to over euro 5.000.
Great performances were those of the notified Borzone, whose intense Escape in Egypt doubled its initial estimate to more than euro 20.000, and Luca Giordano's Deposition of Christ at the Cross, which fetched euro 22.000 from an estimate of euro 5.000/7.000.
An excellent result was also achieved by the mysterious portrait of a bearded man of the Neapolitan School from the first half of the 17th century which fetched euro 37.500.
