From November 15th to 17th, the Almanac Barcelona will host the 20th edition of the LOOP Fair.

For this new edition, LOOP Fair will display a selection of 43 artist’s films from around the world carried out by their galleries, providing once again an exceptional meeting point for the ever-growing moving image community.

After an exceptional edition at La Pedrera - Casa Milà, LOOP Fair is back to its original hotel format by taking over the rooms of the Almanac #barcelona. Offering an overview of the latest contributions to moving image creation in the intimate atmosphere of the hotel, the selection will feature the participation of 43 international artists’ films. The works and galleries are selected by an international committee, chaired by #jeanconradlemaitre and composed by: #isabellelemaitre; #harocumbusyan; Josée and Marc Gensollen; #reneedrake. Including films, animations or VR videos exploring a variety of topics, LOOP Fair will showcase multiple works, testifying to the ductility of video as a creative and critical tool.

Expanded in a hybrid format, the selection will also be accessible #online. From November 15th to 27th, all the videos will simultaneously be available for streaming on the LOOP Virtual platform, offering an immersive experience.

Being the fair venue, the Almanac #barcelona will also host Professional Meetings and the LOOP Talks programme, dedicated to exploring the practices and ethics of collecting, at the core of a thrilling week dedicated to artists’ #film and video.

During the days of the fair, LOOP Festival's programme, will present a series of exhibitions, performances and screenings exploring the notion of 'Time'.
