Bios Antibacterial® is Casalgrande Padana’s exclusive silver-based treatment (available upon request) that helps eliminate 99% of the four main bacterial strains (Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa) from the tiles’ surfaces. In addition, it also combats the formation of yeasts and mould in any interior or exterior setting. This antibacterial treatment is incorporated permanently into the tiles and is always active, day and night. As a result, unlike many other products marketed as antibacterial, it doesn’t need UV radiation to be activated.
