School: Aura Group launches in Italy immersive education project to meet the challenges of the PNRR School 4.0 call for proposals

Digitizing knowledge and making it usable for school students in an engaging and simple way. This is the mission of #auraimmersive (https://auraimmersive.com), the project of #auragroup, a leading reality in accompanying medium and large companies, both Italian and international, in digital innovation paths.
With #auraimmersive an integrated vision is offered to schools that incorporates #hardware, #software and content, is easy to manage and usable at all levels.
The project is carried out in collaboration with #pico, a multinational company among the world's leading manufacturers of immersive headsets.
Aura Immersive will be presented in Italy from March 8 to 10 in Florence at Didacta, the most important exhibition on innovation in the school world.
The project was created in response to the challenges of the PNRR, which, with the "Scuola 4.0" call for proposals promoted by the Ministry of Education and Merit, envisages the investment of 2.1 billion euros for #educational institutions, of which 1.7 billion euros for the transformation of traditional classrooms into innovative learning environments and in the creation of laboratories for the digital professions of the future, and with another specific line of investment, promotes a broad program of training for the digital transition of all school personnel.
"Aura Immersive," says #auragroup Chief Innovation Officer Denis Tredese, "is a platform with content of real appeal and high added value for students and teachers in which there will be multiple thematic channels ranging from social to sports, from robotics to sustainability. #auragroup is a digital accelerator focused on continuity strategies between traditional and digital tools. The omnichannel experience gathered in its 12 years of operation was the basis for the creation of the "Aura Immersive" project and its declination in the #educational sphere.
The launch of #auraimmersive follows the excellent results obtained with our participation in the "STEM" 2021/2022 project funded by the Ministry of Education within the framework of the National Digital School Plan, thanks to which we supported dozens of Italian schools in the creation of laboratory spaces and the provision of digital tools for curricular learning and the teaching of STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
In fact, these are the subjects that allow students to develop numerous functional skills for the exercise of critical thinking, such as the ability to observe and analyze, problem solving and the ability to practice correct inferences, and #auraimmersive also goes in this direction."
"With our participation in this project," says #pico Sales & #partnership director Heitor Bravi, "we want to make available to Italian schools the best innovations on the market today in the field. We strongly believe that bringing innovation into schools can give students an opportunity for ease of learning and personal growth."

"Italy -continues Tredese- is today in 18th place at the European level for digital and technological innovation among school desks, according to the latest DESI report-Digital Economy and Society Index-which somewhat certifies the perplexities found by the numerous reports of the European Commission.
These days, school leaders are working to close the projects related to the PNRR, "School 4.0," one of the crucial moments for the country's schools because the amount of funding provided (1.7 billion for classrooms and laboratories alone) is unique and will not be repeated in the short term.
We are experiencing a unique opportunity that will allow a turnaround of the Italian situation by the end of 2024 and will give students a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a democratic education that is adequate to international standards."
