Max Mara Art Prize, winner announcement 28 March

The winner of the 9th edition of the #maxmaraartprize will be announced on 28 March 2023 at a special ceremony hosted at #whitechapelgallery.  

The prize, established in 2005 - a proud collaboration between #whitechapelgallery, Max Mara and Collezione Maramotti  - is open to female-identifying artists of any age who are yet to have had a major solo survey or exhibition.

It is the only award of its kind in the UK, uniquely offering the winning artist time, support and resources to develop a new body of work through a tailored 6 month residency, which is then presented at a solo exhibition at the Gallery in Summer 2024 and subsequently at #collezionemaramotti, Italy.
