Renault celebrates new Espace at the 72nd Venice International Film Festival of la Biennale di Venezia

  • Renault is confirming its commitment to the cinema by partnering the Venice International Film Festival for the second consecutive year. One of the world’s most prestigious film festivals, the Venice Film Festival this year will be held from September 2 to 12, 2015 under the direction of Alberto Barbera.
  • Renault will be providing festival VIPs with a fleet of 30 new Espace Initiale Paris models, each one bearing an image of the Lion of Venice. It will also be exhibiting the all-new #renault Kadjar in the historic Palazzo del Cinema on the Marconi lungomare.
  • Renault’s affinity with film is built on the strong ties between two worlds sharing a common history, with the first cinemas studios – constructed in Billancourt outside Paris between 1885 and 1898 – being located just next to Renault’s production sites. Since then, the Group has also sponsored the world’s biggest film festivals, including Cannes, Deauville, Lyon, Angouleme, Cabourg and Marrakesh.

New espace: the official car of the 72nd Venice Film Festival

After Latitude, #renault this year has chosen new Espace, one of its most emblematic models, to transport the actors, directors and film teams of the 72nd Edition. Launched in spring and embodied in the media by Kevin Spacey, Renault’s latest model stands apart through its comfort, materials and equipment. Bearing the exclusive Initiale Paris signature, the new crossover features the finest expertise of the #renault brand.

We are proud to announce the continuation of our collaboration as main sponsor with the Venice Film Festival for the second consecutive year and to promote one of the latest #renault models at the world’s oldest film festival.”
Claude Hugot, Head of Public Relations for the Renault-Nissan Alliance.
