The omnipresent attraction that emanates from artistic work is woven into a complex politics of viewing, which is accompanied by a considerable temptation / danger to get lost in the objects. The transition from bait to bait is fluid. But what makes this attraction of supposedly beautiful things and what potential does it hold in the context of an exhibition or for the reception of current political issues? Does art production oriented towards market economy relevant luxury objects neglect its own potential? Does she take herself and her entanglements seriously in a social context? Thomas Hitchcock deals with these questions in the exhibition luuuuure, above whose introductory scenario the question of agency buzzes, which is situated between art production and viewing and flows back into its surroundings.
