We're approaching the end of the year and the opening of entries for our annual contest!

2024 World Press Photo Contest entries open on 1 December

Mark your calendar: our 67th annual Contest will open for entries in just two weeks, on 1 December 2023.

The 2024 World Press Photo Contest, recognizing the best press and documentary photography of 2023, is free to enter and open to professional photographers from around the world.

If you or someone you know have documented an important story this year, make sure to save the date.

Entries open: Friday 1 December 2023, 13.00 CET
Entries close: Thursday 11 January 2024, 13.00 CET
