In 2023, the #moriartmuseum is organizing three exhibitions following the current exhibition, Roppongi Crossing 2022: Coming & Going.
Period: Currently ongoing through Sunday, March 26, 2023
The seventh edition of Roppongi Crossing series focuses on 22 artists, and takes a fresh and wider look at Japan’s #contemporaryart and creative scene, inviting visitors to join us in pondering the imponderable nature of tomorrow.
Period: Friday, March 17 - Sunday, June 4, 2023
Venue: Tokyo City View (52F, Roppongi Hills Mori Tower)
The first exhibition in Japan to showcase twenty-eight major projects of Heatherwick Studio, one of the most closely-watched design teams in the world.
WORLD CLASSROOM: #contemporaryart through School Subjects
Period: Wednesday, April 19 - Sunday, September 24, 2023
The exhibition will be an attempt for us to encounter a world we have never seen or known from a wide variety of perspectives, using the subjects we learn at school as a gateway to #contemporaryart, altogether creating a “classroom of the world,” place of learning with works by some 50 artists/artist groups.
Our Ecology
Period: Wednesday, October 18, 2023 - Sunday, March 31, 2024
Contemplating how #contemporaryart and artists have engaged to date with environmental issues, and how they can do so in future, the exhibition will aim to explore the possibilities left for the sustainable future on a global scale.
